Ladies, 

When I say it’s important to know what you want when it comes to this whole dating thing …. I mean it

Story time!! 

I matched with a guy on hinge ( I know, I know) 

We chatted, connected enough to exchange numbers …

He was local, which was great.

We FaceTime once and spoke for about 20-30 mins …. ( he was doing most of the talking… as he should) 

He asked what I was looking for I said “Hmm I’ll know it once I see it, Daniel “ and added a little smile with a cherry on top

I reiterated the convo back to him so I could get a gaze on who this guy is and what his intentions are with me.

I expressed on the call that I'm ONLY open to lunch or dinner I’m in my 30s he, his 50s 

He agreed and said we could set something up… great

I decided to conclude the call and we will stay in touch

Done… right… not so much

I got a message from Daniel the same night saying since we’re close, let’s meet for drinks tonight with a 😎 emoji

I told him I have plans and perhaps tomorrow evening for dinner will work best FOR ME!! 

He said “ I’ll let you know” … great

*sidebar don’t ever accept last-minute dates or drinks with a man … ever!! 

Anywho the following morning, I got a message that said……

Where I followed up and said

The moral of the story was he was more set on his convenience and preference which made me understand the type of person he is if I chose to further entertain him.

No effort, and a waste of my goddamn time...

Was I upset... heck no. 

Did I let my standards down? Girlllll absolutely not. 

When you accept low effort, you will receive low effort.

Stand your ground, set your standards, and don’t switch them up for anyone, ever!

Daniel can kick rocks and go try that lowball, Let’s grab a drink and see if we connect this type of energy with another chick. Not I, not on my watch.
